Friends of (London) City Churches is a charitable organisation that has been running in its present form since 1994. It focuses on the unique collection of 39 historic Anglican churches in the City of London, and among other activities, helps arrange and publicise regular opening hours, providing volunteers where necessary and encourages and fosters a wider awareness and appreciation of the churches. The Parish Church of St Mary of Charity, Faversham Built to InSpire is a Heritage project that has been funded by the Local Heritage Initiative. The aims of which are to heighten the awareness amongst the local community, schools and visitors to the richness of treasures within the church and churchyard of St Mary of Charity and to gain an understanding of the origins, history and importance of the church within the local community, including customs and traditions. |

Sacred Sussex is the name of the tourism initiative of the Diocese of Chichester, which began in January, 2002.
Membership is free to places of worship and the project covers East Sussex, West Sussex and Brighton and Hove. It is multi-faith. |
