Treasures Unlocked is a group of ten churches that are situated close to one of Leicester and Leicestershire's major attractions. The aim is to link churches to local tourism attractions, to appeal to a wider audience, enhance the visitor offer and encourage visitors to include churches as part of a day trip.
Leicester churches now feature on the GoLeicestershire website at www.treasuresunlocked.co.uk arranged by the Leicester Diocesan Tourism Group. This project has been financially supported by the Leicestershire Rural Partnership.
